What's changed with the thread writing window

I noticed that the window that you type in for posts,threads and PMs has changed. Mine used to have a browny colour background and it now has a black background. The smilies don't work for me any more and I can't leave lines between paragraphs. I tried editing a post and I couldn't save any changes or "go advanced" or cancel. I also noticed a couple of days ago that in the new International Clubhouse Corner the "top" icon to return to the top of the page doesn't work. Is it a problem with the site or is it some feature I have inadvertantly clicked on or maybe some virius my computer has? Cheers Mick.

hard refresh of the page....none of those features have changed and all are working fine for me.

The TLCA corner DOES run a slightly different set of templates due to their color scheme ...most features should be the same between the two tho, and they haven't been changed in months.

I couldn't bring up my home page/wouldn't connect this afternoon so I've updated my security and all is fine now.

I might be experienced with fourbys but I'm still a noob when it comes to puters.
