What transfer case is used with the HD-J78/79?

HF1A part time xfer case (more than likely).
I've noticed a lot of the Canadian mine trucks have the R151 transmission. I don't know if it is related to age or not.

Those are for the 1HZ powered trucks.
My mistake. I misunderstood the question.
What I posted above. Or (unlikely in 79 series), HF2A full time transfer case which would be more likely in a HDJ81, depending on trim level/market.

Really depends on the vehicle the powertrain is being pulled from and market specification.
As reference:
Split case looks like this (more or less, might not have a vacuum actuator on the front extension housing):

I know it's a full time that I converted to a part time. Do you know if a split case will bolt to a H151? Of course I have to wait till I can get home and do some proper measurements, my wife did the preliminary measurements.
No. H151/150 are not compatible with split case.
