What to do for the next step (1 Viewer)

I have a 2018 GX and it seems the OE tires now need to be replaced soon. I was waiting for them to be used up for the next upgrade. We go skiing a few times a year so I would like a more confident tire then the Michelins that came with the GX. We either go to VT, CO or UT for ski trips. I don't at this time plan on lifting the truck, but would like to go on easy trails when I make it back out to UT in the moab area. Should I go down to 17in rims like FN's (they seem to be out of stock at the moment), Method, or Fuel? Then sliders/front bumpers like CBI or victory? The most extreme I see taking the family on is a trail like Imogine pass.
