What the heck is the P/N for in-bumper hitch draw-bar?

05 LX470 with in-bumper hidden hitch.

I put the "OEM towing receiver" portion on there, but I'll be darned if I can find the correct draw bar that works with it.

Everything I can find is too long, and the spare tire gets in the way before I can get the retainer pin in.

Anybody know the correct P/N by chance, or have a spare laying around they wanna sell cheap?

I just wasted $25 buying # PT21460034, which I was told would fit the 2005, and it does NOT. Non-returnable off of Ebay, dandy. I guess that'll be yet another spare draw-bar for my Super Duty, LOL.

Please let me know, thanks!

Is this what you're talking about?

I bought it and it works fine. You'll need a big Torx bit (a T55, I think, though it's been a while so double check) to get it tight.

Also know that with some receiver ball mounts, like mine, the forward end stuck into the receiver will hit the spare tire before the holes line up to let you put the hitch pin in. You have the choice of cutting off the front of the tube or drilling a hole in a further-forward position. I drilled the hole.

Nope, I already installed that. I need the draw bar, and would prefer something that I don't have to cut the end off or re-drill the pin hole. :)

Thanks to Sandroad, he's hooking me up with a spare OEM draw-bar that he has:)

Does that mean there's a part #? It might help someone else who's looking for the same thing in the future.

I'll post up once I get it:)

Problem is, the bumper mounted (OEM) hidden hitch requires 1) the Receiver adapter shown above and 2) a special draw bar.......

You might just need to lower the spare enough to get it to move out of the way and insert the hitch and then draw the spare up snug again.

I had that problem with a hitch on one of my rigs a while back. Don't remember if it was a 100 or 80 series though.

I think this will work. It's very short on the back end, only slightly more than an inch from the pin hole to the back. It's part number 00214-0093.

I think that'll work!
