I bought a pair of those rubber strips that cover the rivets where the windshield meets the A-pillars.

It’s kind of a J-shaped extrusion. Nothing obvious about how they should be oriented, they can be jammed in there in 4 possible orientations - the pix below are looking down the A-pillar on the driver’s side:

Orientation #1

Orientation #2

Anyone know the correct way?

Orientation #2 from top to bottom

So “J” portion faces away from the windshield?
Na the hooked portion goes towards the windshield as in photo. Hold trim as in #2 and insert starting at top working in towards bottom on drivers side

Edit Orientation #2 is your third photo

Orientation 2 kinda works. The channel is not the same dimension all the way up and down so you kinda have to cram it near the top and bottom, while the middle is a little loose. The rivets cause lumps, but I suppose it protects them from water ingress.

I feel like I could have done a better job with 2 pieces of 1/2” X 1/2” neoprene foam, but Uncle T got my $44 this time 🙄
