what size tires fit on a ome heavy lift?

looking for some info for someone who has an fj with ome heavy lift all around. They have an arb bumper with no winch at this time and factory sliders. Whats the biggest size tires they can run? The plan on using the 16'' off road fj wheels. no off roading will be done with this vehicle

I've been running 35 X 10.5 tires (SuperSwamper SSR's) with the OME 886 springs up front. To do that, they would have to do a body mount chop and be aware of rubbing a chance for rubbing on the UCA's if the backspacing gets altered at all.

If they go with a wider tire than a 10.5, they will have additional challenges. Most who run a 12.5 will have to put wheel spacers to help with rubbing. The width of the tires seems to cause more issues than the height up to a 34 or 35" tire. A 285/75/16 should be a safe tire to shoot for without any rubbing issues.

Safely, a 33" tire will work well and won't need a body mount chop. I ran 255/85/16's and loved their performance without having the additional weight of a much larger tire. I'd simply advise them to test fit any tires before leaving the shop to make sure there is not rubbing at full lock. No better way to tear up a nice, new set of tires than rubbing on the body mount.

oh he has a supercharger too to cruise the freeway. that should make you happy.
