I did use search here and on the net but no answer ...

What size are the front and rear shock mount studs


I have shock mount studs on my current rear end. However, they are on the leaf spring U-bolt plates.... but I'm using the mounts I have on the axle perch.

I'm installing my conn-ferr leaf spring skids which have no shock studs..

my recently purchased rear end has no shock mount studs on the axle perch as does My current rear end.

Those shocks on my rear end currently are protected above the leaf spring. That's were I want to re-mount my shocks on the rear I'm installing.

I need to know the size diameter, length, thread size, and pitch etc for the studs that I can purchase for the rear end putting in.

Update... the picture is the rear under FJ with the shock mount on skid plate but the shock mounted to the axle perch mount...
(maybe custom done by PO?)

The bottom is the one going on... I want the studs or pins I guess in the same spot. I don't want to weld pins onto the leaf spring skids that I'm puttin on

FJ40s use a 16mm pin that is shouldered down to the 12mm x 1.25 thread as @r083rt pointed out. Your shock will have a 16MM ( 5/8" )

Thanks pointing that one out I only typed FJ not fj40. I assumed and for that I do apologize. I was just being lazy.
