Hey everybody. First post :flipoff2:. I've been looking at this site for a while getting info. I do have a question that I couldn't find an answer to. If it's in the wrong forum, sorry.

I have an '85 with a 22r that I would like to take apart, clean up, and personalize it a little. I took the bed off (rusted terrible) so I can make it a flat bed. I need to get it down to just the frame so I can have it blasted and I can paint it.

Is there a particular order that I need to follow so I don't get myself in a bind? The bed is already off (rusted bad). I need to still get the engine, tranny, T/C, axles and such off.

I've got more questions later.

Thanks in advance,
Hoss in IL

OK, not to be dumb- you mean take the tires and wheels off, put it on jack stands for the rest and get the axles off last?

Thanks, Hoss

you want it rolling as long as possible.

Pull the front clip(fenders, grill, hood) first, then the cab. then everything else.
