Not to good on other Land Cruisers and just want to know what model this is. They say year 79. All I know is the people in it look tired...
Thanks for any information.
I know I'm not a member, but ONSC people are more fun than the regular forum.

Well I was working on that this year, but the funds were once again not where they need to be. Surprised my Misses with a new tag for the 40 for Christmas and was told more than I care to type.
Anyway, thanks for the info of it being a 55. Doesn't look like much of anything, but it was on Charlotte Craig's list and was just passing along the information.

how did it run

That front bezel and headlight bucket look better than mine... I might need to give him a call...

Hope you didn't take that any other way than, "would love to have you in the fold!". Certainly don't want to discourage you from coming to the forum and joining in the banter!

That's funny, Brett, Raphael, Quinton and John were standing around the Charlotte meet looking at the craigslist posting for that thing. And I said I should forward this to you since the rear door is in great shape and the bezel, and that alone is worth the asking price.

Oh and to the OP I think it is a FJ69 :grinpimp:

And you don't have to be a member to post here or to come to an event to check us out

Al said that the back door was worth $600 and eric said he was going to run and get it.

Nothing taken wrong. I have been trying to get it together to join and do some meets and greets. The 40 just sits in it's little garage with no place to go. The gas in it is probably over three years old by now..

The 55 does look older than a 79.

Anything on this thing that would work on a 40 build, like are the axles any different, (wider) or better trans. Just pipe dreaming, but always thinking. If 79 it should have disc brakes, if 69, maybe not?

79 would probably have 3.73's, but not 100%. Should have disc brake fronts, 2F but not yet split t-case.
