As shown in below picture, the plastic cover thing on my AC control unit is peeling off. What kind of glue should I use to glue it back? I want to keep it clean and clear, and don't want to use super glue that could end up being foggy. Thanks!

You can use a regular 2 component epoxy from HD with a G20 or G22 Luer Lock needle like this one:

use some super glue to glue it onto the mixing tube and then dispense carefully around the frame. The wet adhesion will hold it in place over cover it up with some tape.

Don't use super glue or contact stuff to glue it in: those will outgas and cause fog inside and/ or leave white blemish. The (likely) PC glass might also crack...
And go for the regular slow curing epoxies and not the "done in 2 minutes" ones. They are also more likely to cause stress cracking on the glass.

I wouldnt use glue at all. Too hard to control application. Use some 3M VHB adhesive tape. Probably what it originally attached with. This stuff is gold. Use for anything requiring precise adhesive placement ( iPhone screens, etc.) I don't know specific 3M product number. They have quite a variety nowadays ...

Not sure if this is same as in pics, but seems close.
