Kinna off topic. Is possible to install 130/150 amp from Tundra/Sequoa alternator? Some done it before. Like others made for FZJ and just changing the brackets but Photoman stop making the brackets for them. Or just stick with the 80 amp Denso?

This is my next project. Figuring this out. Not sure if a Sequoia/Tundra alternator will work but there has to be something out there. Wiring upgrades will probably be necessary as well...

I've been trying to remove the starter, so I can replace the plunger and contacts. I downloaded relevant documents from tis, reviewed posts on this forum and went with the 'removing passenger wheel' approach. It definitely was a PITA, but with the help of friend, I was able to disconnect both cables, remove the bottom bolt and top nut. I guess I kind of just pictured it sliding off the top bolt towards the front of the vehicle at that point, but it won't budge even a little.

I've hit it a little with a rubber mallet, but to no affect. Has anybody had similar issues? Any ideas? I was thinking of cleaning some of the crud to see a little better.
