and OEM TREs? Is it 47.5"? 48.54"? or it depends on caster and lift? I did a search and came across this thread. I don't know how is it possible to squize in 47.5" with Slee or OEM Tie Rod with TREs. I am having hard time to get to 48.54, according to the service bulletine. Right now I am at 49" and the nuts have very little space. Now if I can torque the jam nuts hard enough and let it sit on the tappered portion of the TREs, then I might be able to squize out 48.5", but not sure if that's the right thing to do. So what is the right measurement?

Thanks

Proper tie rod length is when the toe is set correctly. Am I missing something or are you talking about the drag link? Steering box to steering arm in front of the axle or steering arm to steering arm in the rear of the axle?

Yep, that's what I'm talking about. Isn't that tie rod? I thought drag link is the one in front of the axle? Man I need to get my terminologies straight :o .
