I just paid 8 bucks a foot for 16 feet of 1-3/4" DOM tubing:bang: and was quoted 15.8 per foot at another supplier for the same.
Has anyone found a better price in BC Canada? outside of BC?

I know a guy who routinely buys steel for his welding business. I give him my lists and he adds them to his orders. Saves me a lot of money and helps him get to the next higher price break. You could try local welding shops.

prices of steel in the frasier valley at one place called unsco steel want 48 dollars for 4x8 expanded steel mesh. For there 1x2 it is 2 dollars a foot? I think there should be a "where is the best metal price thread" for vancouver market.

BTW, another place wanted 72 dollars for a 4x8 sheet of expanded steel mesh.

If I was brining in more work, it would not be that big of a deal to pay it. But I have bills to pay, and trying to get the best deal.

Hi I am in Vernon BC and am wondering the same. Where did you get the DOM for 8 bucks a foot? I went to A1 Machine in Vernon and they wanted $250 +$30 freight +tax for 8 feet of 1-1/2" 1/4 wall DOM. Sounds ridiculous to me.

Not sure if there is a metal super market in your area? Here is 8.80 a foot or 240 inches for 163.30 less mud discount of 10%...

Material 1.75 DOM 120 wall.
