I'm really happy with mine. Though it came with the truck when I bought it. Also has a bit of a cam, header and free flowing exhaust. Was told told the compression was bumped. Runs strong and even under a load it's never pinged. My Odometer was broken along with the gas gauge. Both have been replaced and am now waiting to see what kind of mpg I'm getting 😎

My wife is responsible for the rise and fall of Marshall’s stock price… she said she has not seen anything close here in the 6 Marshall stores she lives at
It was a chance thing a friend saw and let me know. Tell your wife to check the young mens section, that’s where I found it. Definitely a a regular adult size

Accumulating parts for the next build.

Was giving the undercarriage a once over while reinstalling my front driveshaft and noticed a telltale shadow above me on the driver’s side engine mount.

Not completely separated, but not any good either.

Finished up Wilbur's new upholstery, my first attempt. New speakers as well. I used the old speaker covers because the Kicker covers left the speakers too exposed while the old ones offer more protection. Oil Change & spark plugs today, he's ready to rock the beach. BTW, I have all of the old "door panel clips" if anyone can use them. No charge, just let me know where to mail them if you need some.

Well, here goes. A little background, I bought this probably 20 years ago and it had been assaulted by the previous owner in unspeakable ways. It was coated in sand, the seats were raised by placing electrical junction blocks between the floor and the seat frames. Holes were drilled in the hood for the purpose of mounting a shovel and a crow bar and a spare that belonged on riding mower. Through the years I had removed all the sand except for what was on the hardtop, I took it off and put on a used Bestop soft top. Rebuilt the engine about 2000 miles ago and also installed disc brakes. The steering was also rebuilt. In January I got after the suspension and it is now sporting the Skyjacker 2 1/2 inch lift kit. The final piece of the puzzle was putting the doors and hardtop back on. Removing that sand from the fiberglass was pretty time and labor intensive. I put new weatherstripping on the doors and new glass channel. I am almost done, I need to replace the driver side door handle, it's coming next Saturday. It feels like a whole new vehicle. There is a down side to all of this, I painfully failed to adhere to my beer budget, wasn't even close. Honestly, I didn't try very hard. My happy place is CCR, PBR and working on that 40. Thanks for all the help and good info I got from all of you.

What a tease…. No before/after pics?

I have a few. I'll see if I'm smart enough to figure out how to post them
Here goes. I'm tired of painting and paint prep, so the plan here is to take the hardtop back off next spring and separate the sides from the top and paint the sides inside and out, put in the new headliner and paint the rest of the body in Rustic Green. In the meantime there are game cams to check, mushrooms to harvest and grandsons to share it all with. I even put the jump seats back in.

Get ready to paint the floorboard where the gas tank sits. I was curious about some areas that are showing a little medal after sanding the primer. I read that the areas showing medal could be potentially high spots.

Wondering if I should go ahead and spray the 2k on it or should I hit it up with primer again? Any thoughts would be great because I plan on trying to do this today. Thanks
