Made it faster

Just some winchety goodness happening.
When i say "rolling resto," i mean I'm in a campground😉.
Propane tanks plus a 2x4 and some cardboard got me to just the right height...
Now to crimp some wires and stretch that cable into the drum.
I sure hope this thing works😬
Period correct and perfectly aged.

Yeah, well I only had one propane tank, so I improvised:

I've had an empty spot in my gauge mount for years. It is a convenient spot for a spare 12 ounce can, but I thought it might be fun to measure my ported vacuum as well as manifold vacuum...

Excellent ! Vacuum is an excellent indicator of fuel economy while driving. All 80s economy gauges where nothing but a vacuum gauge; when accelerating try to drive at the highest vacuum. Also you can use it when tuning your carburetor and distributor timing, tune to the highest vacuum reading with the vacuum advance removed from the carb, just making sure the carb vacuum port is caped off while tuning.

Drove my’64 over to a prospective client’s house so that when when I was done inspecting her ‘64, I could show her what a well-tuned ‘64 is supposed to sound like when I’m done tuning it.

Unfortunately, it will be a long time until we get to that point; truck has a couple of major issues.☹️ Look familiar to anyone? She says it came from the Sacramento area.

I need to look into that 3D printing…is it a real PITA when you want to scan an item to be printed or are there special files that you need?

On the other hand:
The window seals on both ambulance doors is dry and cracking so I am replacing them 1 at a time…. Never did this before so it may be an issue, just not too sure…but that never held me back on anything before so here we go.

Also, I had a troubling ding under the right side window so I decided to address this now.. a simple approach u til the next re-paint
Clear coat in a few days

It has been a pain to raise my windshield because the little brackets that keep the spacers in place had broken off, sometime in the mid 1980’s. Today was the day I finally fixed them.
