So uh, my site pics aren't good enough huh? :hmm:

Too clarify, not that the pic quality is not good, maybe more of my expectation of what fridge wiring would be. Again crazy quality and craftsmanship.

Traded in my fj cruiser and bought a 100 series lc.

Me too!... 5 years ago. I bought it new - in 2007 - because I couldn't justify (okay, afford) a new Land Cruiser. 5 years later... bought the 2006 Land Cruiser. I loved the FJC... but, not as much as the 100. Welcome to the club.

Installed my GOBI rack. My OEM rack came off easy, no rusted bolts. Install was flawless, all holes lined right up, instructions were clear, and all the hardware was there. I’m really impressed with the build quality of this thing. I got the ladder and sun-roof insert as well.

I also installed my Air Lift airbags. Again, good instructions. Easier than I thought it would be. It took me about three hours. I’m kinda slow and it was HOT outside. I pinched one of the hoses sliding one coil back in and had a leak. I didn’t find it till everything was put back together and I aired it up. Easy fix, I jacked up the rear again, with the tires on, slid the bag up, cut about one inch off the hose, and pushed it back on. After three days, still holding the same air pressure.

Finally got around to getting BFG AT KO2's mounted on 17".

First impressions:
- looks fantastic
- these things are heavy as s*** and I can feel that in steering, pickup from standstill and mpg's
- not loud at high speed, but not as silent as road tires either.

Installed LEDs throughout. Added some red to the map lights.

Fixed my clunk with a liberal amount of Amsoil NLGI-1 5% moly in the yokes.
Replaced my fuel filter at 165k. I didn't cut it open but I dumped a bunch of muddy gas out the inlet side:

Gave her a much needed bath and removed my light bar. Had it mounted under the front of my Bajarack. Looked amazing there, but the 1/4" on the top and the bottom of the bar created a pretty annoying whistle at 65 +mph

Coming to the realization that I'm going to sell my beloved 100. My new job requires tons of driving, and a small truck would be more ideal. Sad times...but it's been a great ride.

Had to get an oil & service for a road trip to Yosemite :) and took it to the local Lexus dealer due to no appointments available at Toyota. Wow...I'm not sure where to start but it was nice and professional. The cruiser was noticeably more smooth and I was surprised to find the engine bay was cleaned! It was like a day spa for my cruiser.

Life with kids is like this: started yesterday afternoon but had to stop numerous times for random kid stuff so only got LH side done!

Now I'm going for RH side.

Changed all 3 motor mounts and front driveshaft. Front motor mounts are a bit of a pain to get in and out. All mounts had started to separate off the metal and they where compressed so they were at the end of there life after 18 years and 170,000 miles. I changed the front drive shaft due to excessive end play after fitting new oem u joints about 6 months ago.

Wife just called, 3 year old Kirkland battery gave up the ghost, recent heat must have killed it. Costco carries Interstate now, swung by, picked up their size 23, ran home and swapped it out. Random point, the Kirkland was maybe 1/2" too tall, the front bolt was too short and to get it to bite had me pushing down on the hold down bar pretty hard to the point where the battery plastic was deforming a little. Longer bolt solved that. Happy to report the Interstate size 23 is a perfect fit.

Also, the tire shop apparently forgot to mark the date I bought it on the sticker on top of the old battery, so full refund!

Two weeks ago, wash, clay bar and wax. Got it dirty last weekend and just hosed it clean.
This weekend oil and filter change. M1-209 and the high mileage synthetic.
Rear diff and transfer case fluids replaced. Front diff fill plug is stuck will tray again next weekend.
Greased the drive shaft.

AHC fluid swap and oil change (M209 + M1 5w30), added some brighter fog lights as well. Bought an additional key, but haven't figure out how to program the immobiliser, wireless remote was easy.

Old suspension fluid looked dirty.

Gave Bender a tune up, new plugs, air filter, fuel filter, cleaned MAF, cleaned throttle body, seafoam treatment.....motor is purring right now, hopefully i will regain some power and MPGs, we shall see, towing the Ruger trailer last weekend made me do this wok as it felt under powered.

I attempted to remove the rear emblems after a bad plastidip job and there is a ton of residue. The paint is also scratched up any suggestions for covering it up or any cool ideas for new emblems? I thought that metal ones instead of the plastic ones may look cool depending on if someone could fab them up.

I would start with the least aggressive solution first - wax and grease remover.
