Not a Toyota that is for durn sure!!! Heh!
Well I posted up on CL and got quite a few various responses for trades on my 96 Dodge Ram and ended up making a swap last Friday.
Didn't think to save their pictures and haven't taken any of my own yet but I am sure all of you have seen a stock Red Wrangler with black softtop before.
This is a 97 model with the 4 cyl engine, and auto tranny. (Made the
very happy!)
I REALLY started thinking about FJs but either you end up with a Chevota to get the automatic, or you went SUV and got the 62/80. IF the right deal had come along for those I would have jumped on it, but...sometimes you strike when the iron is hot.
We still have the 120 series so my TLCA membership will stay intact!! Working on Em / hoping to drive the 120 for the OBX trip!!!
So next time you are insulting the HEEPs, Heep Wave etc that will be me, lol!!
However, before I became YOTANERD on xbox live, I was JEEPNERD
This is my 5th Jeep, 3rd Wrangler [Owned 4 "yotas" so far too for anyone keeping count for CRED]
Goals for the TJ will be maybe a very slight lift to fit 31-33s, but not planning on wheeling much in the future except easy stuff. (Brown, GWNF, OBX, or such)
Winch... and I am thinking of making a fold out extension to the bed area that would create a place to sleep for overnight trips by myself. FJ40 guys face similar space issues / interested in all solutions you folks may know of. I found one CJ owner who removed passenger seat and rear to sleep in his.
A few rust holes, will post up pictures as we tackle and fix them since the tech would apply to all rusty rigs.
I will try to restrain from driving to ONSC events, unless of course it is sunny, ha!! (Maybe I could put a FJ40 grill on there, that would confuse em!!)
JEEPNERD / YOTANERD....aka confused!?
