Hey guyz... i have a technical but basic question.

All of a my instrument guage panel went of on me. I checked the dimmer and nothing changed. but at the same time, my brake lights went out. I checked to see if pressing on the brakes would work but nothing happen. I checked the fuses in the main fuse box in the engine bay but all the fuses are good. Is there another set of fuses somewhere or could it be a main relay.?? If anyone can help it me with this or suggest something it would be of great help. I cant drive it due to this or should i say i cant drive it at night.

There is a 10a fuse labelled "Gauge" in the fuse panel to the left of the steering wheel. Did you check that fuse? The other possibilities are the 7.5a fuse labelled "IGN" and the 15a fuse labelled "TAIL."

no i havent checked those yet. i did not know there was a panel next to the steering wheel. (inside the vehicle) i will check all those fuses tomorrow and hope i find the right one. also... i have found another problem. i find that everytime i start my vehicle and try to take it out of park, that i have to press the "shift override" button . i never had to do this before but all of a sudden i have to. is there any reason for that?

Tail fuse or burned brake lamp.

welll i found the problem... it was a fuse. thanx... but now my next problem is why do i have to always press the shift override button to take my car out of park and put into any other gear. it never did that before until recent.

any suggestions..

My first guess is your brake lights still don't work.
