This I noticed early in the morning when the sun was coming up. What does this indicate? Is it the tire, or the the bead maybe?

Looks like you have a crack along the bead that is allowing air out and either pushing something out from the inside of the tire or mixing with something on the out side creating foam bubbles.
Has fix a flat ever been used on the tire? How old is the tire?

This tire came with my 85 pick up as a spare. I recently acquired a matching spare wheel and am now looking for a spare tire size 35 12.5 15, because of what I see here I am not wanting to depend on this as a spare. I will be selling the lone wagon wheel..

I have a 35x12.5x15 BFG MT sitting on the side of the house you can have for free. Not a ton of tread left on it, but all the wear is even. It came on a matching spare wheel I bought for the 40 before I sold it. I have no need for it, so its yours if you want it.
