Just seeing what you guys use to keep expensive tires on your trucks. So what locking lugs do you have???

Not locking but fairly secure. They require a special wrench to remove.

Yeah that's what I had and my wheels were stolen. Maybe an alarm that shocks the person who touches it??? I'll keep my eyes open, maybe just go back to that type of nut

Bought a Pathfinder back in 87 that had a locking lug nuts. Tried rotating the wheels and couldn't get a couple of the locking lug nuts off. Took it the dealer and had them removed and installed the plain hex lug nuts. My son bought a mustang that came with locks something like that with no tool to remove. Used a impact socket driven on by a hand sledge and removed them. I'm guesing when I go thru all my stuff I will find at least three sets of locking lug nuts I've removed from FJ40s over the years. I rarely park my vehicle anywhere after dark and park in a garage at home. From what I've read on mud most vehicle thief's and wheels thief's as well as just plain break to steal stuff happen when a vehicle is at home parked outside. If Murf's better half hadn't been paying attention his FJ40 would have been towed away from the front of the house in the middle of the day.
