:meh: $13K is a little steep for a Chevy conversion IMHO.

It looks "nice" from a distance in the limited pictures, but with "new" paint and rhino lining on it, who knows what that is hiding. A closer, in-person inspection would be warranted to get a good look at the trouble areas and a good look at the under side. I'd be interested in the eng/tranny/t-case combo is in there. Says 5-speed, so was there an H55/split case combo retro'd in there or what?

No pics from before the paint and liner-think I'll pass.

I am seeing more and more 40 series above the $10K price lately. Think I'll hold on to my old POS.

Walk away.

The blown up versions of the pics show junk all over that rig.

$8k? Maybe.

I know! It's about impossible to find one not covered in rust below 10k.

Is that one still for sale??

I love that truck! If I was looking for a 40, I would certainly have Brad's at the top of the list. Take a bottle of Crown with you if go see it and you may come away with a good deal. LOL. Wheeled in Cullowee back in the day w/ this rig and fell in love with the color and look of the truck.

Thanks so much guys! I can def take some crown although I might have to join in for a glass-or several glasses-and won't be able to drive the 40 home afterwards. I never say no to whiskey! Haha!

I want a ride in that 40 if you buy it. Where are you in Raleigh? I am near crabtree. Those are 34 inch tires. Such a great looking 40.

Hoping he still has it for sale. I live near Cameron village an work downtown.

SOLD! Just got home and am replacing the battery and going to wash and detail him! I'm in love! :) Definitely need some pointers on the clutch on this thing. It is not my 6 speed for sure!

Well done, congrats and enjoy your new girl. The clutch is more "up and down" than "forward and back" with the newer cars. The friction point is pretty "high" and can be tricky to get used to.

Yet, you'll adapt and love, literally "cruising" around in your new toy...

Believe me, I've been working all day and there's still plenty of dirt! Did he post the video? I'd love to see it! :) Brad was great!! Very fortunate to have found this one!
