I finally hit the deck this morning for the DVS 4” control arms, I’m going to ditch the plates.

You'll be really happy with the arms. I love mine.

It's going to get a Partner Steel Cook Partner stove thrown into the back with everything else that stays in the truck, just waiting for it to arrive.

A sheet of 3/16" steel plate to make some transfer case armor. My TC is completely exposed at the moment and cast aluminum doesn't handle impacts well.

Just being able to afford to re-register and insure the 80 will be enough of a Xmas gift this year now that I've got a home loan for the next 30 years and have re-organised finances around that 8-) Rego runs out in a few weeks.

I got mine a new to me OEM VAF, a new heater/AC blower motor, wiring harness, and resistor, some new rubber window wipers that go on the outside of the door (I don’t know their proper name), and fresh fluid in the diffs after 500 miles on the new lockers. Land Cruiser Specialists in Austin did the work. The truck runs great. I can’t say enough good things about my experiences with them.

Dobinsons C97-145VTB Dual Rate for the rear of my 80 to go with the front dobs. The old rear ome 863 coils are showing their 20+ year age.

cheers,
george.

Not a bad gift. Keep her!

I got wheels redone and new rubber…roof and rear hatch and cowl painted. Buffed her up good.

ARB Base rack and SLEE sliders have arrived, just not installed yet.

Beautiful! How did you go about redoing your wheels?
