Big week for the 92 Warthog! Finally got to try the new Cooper's out in the snow (it did so well it almost allowed for dangerous complacency), celebrated its 23rd birthday (it's a 3/92), AND turned over 90,000 miles on the clock. I figured all that was worth a bath!

Installed new Magnaflow Y pipe with cat. Very well made and everything lined up beautifully. I was pleasantly surprised ALL of the flange fasteners broke loose with a little elbow grease. Impressive for a nearly 20 year old truck. Sounds nice and quiet now

Replaced the corroded connectors for my bumper lights with Weather Pack.

Finally woke up after forcing myself to stay up so that jet lag wouldn't kick my ass all week. Tried to get breakfast but truck wouldn't start. Not even turn over. Just "click". Well 2ish weeks is all it takes to kill the main battery it seems. Well brought out my handy dandy jumper cables and jumped myself using my six battery. No worries and all is good with the world again.

^^^^^nice rig. Jealous of the turbo diesel!

If you wheel your truck isn't that cooler under the bumper going to get smashed at some point???
Nah mate all good, got a nice chunky bash plate to save it ;)

Looks great! Did you drill the manifold for the EGT on the truck? Where did you stick the display?

The instruction manual says to drill and tap the manifold with a cold engine idling. It felt pretty cowboy, just hoping that I wouldn't shred my turbo, and wasnt perfectly straight because of getting the drill into the tight space. But the exhaust gas blows all the swarth out as soon as you break through; nearly got some in my eye. Thanks oil patch safety culture for the safety glasses.

The display is mounted just in front of my shifter. I have a strip of Velcro around my old mechanical gauge mount and a strip on the back of the ems1. That I can can disconnect it and bring the computer inside (storage temp is -20°c, so I figure in the deep winter).IMG_20150302_174450.webp
You can kind of see it better in this picture..

I came really close to going with this setup for my truck. In the end I opted for dual Aubers + column mount EGT (I love being able to know EGT's at a glance), but the EMS1 is a nice package.

No battery charger plugged in?

tore apart the front end, cleaned up all the parts real good, new bearings all packed and took out stock diff to put new diff with 4.88s and arb in only to find it doesn't fit! bought it from low range since i didn't want to buy from trailmart and marlin was backordered on bearings, only find low range farms everything out to trailmart. trailmarts excuse is they use a thicker bearing adjuster and that the housing needs to be modified, but neither website nor the paperwork mention anything about a thicker bearing adjuster or housing modifications required, which now has be a bit apprehensive in addtion to seriously pissed.

but i did finally get the front end abs free (anyone need front harness and sensors) and the front end is completely rebuilt minus the diff
