What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

The dual swing out latch is the only known issue. To prevent from "Rattling" you really need to tighten the mechanisms and it takes some force to latch/un-latch.
I have both 4x4labs and Avid offroad. Both very similar in design but Avid has the better latching mechanisms.
Looks like @hisandhers80s doesn't have the spindles, so a non swing out option...I'd probably do the same with mine when I build it. That said, I do have the spindles with the kit just in case I decide to include when built. I removed my swing outs from my Kaymar, but it is nice to know that I have the option to pop them on with just one big nut on each side...

I have the Bell Fab Tire mount for inside the rear hatch. I did not want a tire hanging off the back causing any clearance or access issues. That is why there are no spindles on mine. Also, my bumper was prefabricated.

I don't mind it taking some force to latch/un-latch. Makes me feel confident it will stay put.

This ^ I have run mine both with & without swingouts and I appreciate the flexibility.

installing these. A little annoyed they didn’t duplicate the factory bends on the rears but it works out.

What's the point of a see-through sun visor? Why not just add a tint strip?
Ive been using those at work for years now
I like the ability to be able to “dim” the sun but still be able to see ahead.

And funny enough, my F150 has a tint strip, and that annoys the heck out of me 😂

I suppose it's a "to each his own" scenario. I wear sunglasses, and if they can't cut the sun enough, I need it to be blocked entirely.

I just got the same set in the mail today and started getting the calipers and brake lines on tonight.

Nice. Although in the last picture it’s looks like it had a little twist to it and may put extra pressure on it when at full lock to the right. That’s the downside to their design that doesn’t key in to the holders at the hard line. You can rotate them to any position. It’s definitely hard getting an 18mm wrench in there to hold the braided line while you tighten the hard line. I just got mine all installed today. I also went ahead and installed a manual proportioning valve since o had the system apart anyway. I did the ABS and LSPV delete last fall. Made a little bracket out of stainless to hold it.
