Got the transfer case almost disassembled and ready for the new low range gears, underdrive, and part-time kit. Just need a longer puller set to get the last gears off the output cluster.

Coming along! If you were closer, I'd let you borrow my long reach puller from when I did mine. Let me know if you need to know what I used...pretty sure amazon special, but the right one worked like a charm (just like the proper snap ring pliers).

Thanks! I am pretty sure I damaged the teeth on the hub when my puller popped off, so I ordered a new one via Partsouq. Luckily its only $37. But I still need to get it off, so I just placed an order for the Amazon special!

Let my 10 y/o daughter romp around the property. I’m in NE TN, we got over 11”.

Side note, she drives better than most on the road today. Half-joking. Her only instruction was not to hit anything. I let her park it inside the garage - no fear; just action.

She can basically see over the dash. 🤣

I remember letting my daughter drive our 80 when she was 11 on a friends property in the country. she had a blast and loved it

Agreed! I started driving at about 12 in my dad's CJ7 back in the gravel pits. By 14, I could back a boat trailer down a sloped 100 yard ramp like a pro...my mom would tell me that if I could get the boat to the water (15' Boston Whaler), she'd ride shotgun so I could do it. Ramp was only 10 houses from ours, so she'd get it down there and I'd do the backup duties!

And my project of the day...working on a drawer setup with 2 modules for a sleeping platform and fridge perch. I decided to go custom and do it myself with the inside tire mount (I have the LRA tank). I do have a swing out bumper, but I prefer not to have too much stuff hanging off of the back if I don't absolutely need the inside space. My goal is to have the front module behind the passenger seat (and fridge module too) easily removable in case I need to pop a seat or two in the middle row. To build this, I used the Tnutz extrusions and hardware...nice and solid! I'll bolt it to the aluminum bars that will be mounted to existing mount points, so no drilling through the floor. I'll also add some wings to cover the sides to tidy up a bit. Next choice is if I go bamboo plywood for a cool look (and strength), or stick with a finished birch plywood and rhino-liner or similar.

This is going to be a sweet drawer setup bro

Thanks! I'm pretty amped to get this done...this is a second version after a first one that I pulled apart and used most of the extrusions & hardware. I have pretty solid carpentry skills, so once the temps come above 20 degrees, I'll be able to get more done on the woodworks. I am going to swap out a few hardware pieces to the double size ones to attach the top down from inside to hide the hardware...I just had the singles on the back box for now, but doubles everywhere else for the second phase. Slides are rated for 400+ pounds, so a nice big drawer shouldn't be a problem. I'll also do a nice hatch in the front sleeper box for tons of great storage...and I left the front open with an overhang in the middle row footwell for some oversized goodies too.

I'm curious to see a photo of this part

@CrabCake confirmed I damaged the teeth on the hub BUT the Amazon special puller did the charm and got the hub off and I stuck the little locator pin in a zip lock bag to keep from losing it. It will probably take me as long as it takes Partsouq to get me the part as it will to get the cases and parts cleaned up and ready to go back together.

Basically this area in front of the platform where the rear footwell is. the lower portion will stay open to access from the rear passenger doors or to slip some snack goodies behind the center console...I haven't test fit yet, but could be a good place for my 15lb power tank and/or Mojab hydraulic jack, foldable chairs, etc. I should be able to get the cruiser out of the garage one evening this week to test fit some of these. I may also do a sub box in the front of the front module for a little more thump... ;)

I have one last bar coming for the front of the fridge base (behind driver's seat) and should have some time to get the mounting bars in place soon. I'll bolt the front to the forewardmost rear seat mount holes, so the footwell area should stay mostly clear with the cantilevered platform over that area.

Just ordered the A750F Toyota reman 100 series 5 speed transmission from the dealership in anticipation of the @Cruisers and Co conversion package... ;) 🦀

I'm confident enough that this will be an amazing upgrade to invest in one of the last 3 reman units in the US for now...I was able to get registered for Cruise Moab to get a test drive in person!

Looks good. Who did you go through? I want mine recovered and made thicker, and the place I asked couldn't make it thicker and wanted WAY TOO MUCH to recover it.

Hey, folks with a Prinsu rack, can I get a measurement? Gutter mount to the top of the deck.
