I'm changing my A/T fluid right now, and I can't remember if the fluid level should be set with the engine off or running, and the owner's manual doesn't specify. What's correct?

It’s almost always with the engine running, in park, and on level ground. What’s unique to the 80 series is that it has hot and cold marks on the dipstick.I'm changing my A/T fluid right now, and I can't remember if the fluid level should be set with the engine off or running, and the owner's manual doesn't specify. That's what I'm used to, but other owner's manuals say that explicitly. It’s almost always with the engine running, in park, and on level ground. What’s unique to the 80 series is that it has hot and cold marks on the dipstick.
Did the same last week. The last auto zone one lasted like ten years. Not too bad.yeah - and then when I opened the hood I could hear odd noises coming from the canister for several minutes

Met up with an old timer on the trail. Temp was 23°. Cold enough to freeze a water bottle. This old fella slept out on a cot!Early start to the weekend. Cold camping in the Sierras.

I think the oil pressure sender unit is wired into my caffeine intake manifold. Clearly, needed more caffeine at that moment. What's up with that oil pressure?
2100 rpm @120 km/H......... cool.I went out and did some Moab things with my Dad this last week. Two days of driving there, three days with Dad, two days driving back and the whole time, the only dirt my Cruiser saw was the BLM road off of Nevada Hwy 50 where I camped, the road from Moab up Kane Creek to the Ledge campground, and the last two miles of gravel to the Elephant Hill trailhead in Canyonlands. Other than that it was all highway and hikes accessible via paved roads. It was Dad's first time to Moab and at some point he told me "You know, all these rocks just look the same to me..." so I guess that's the last time I'll be meeting him there!

Nah, diesel swap and a 3.70 final drive ratio. But it was probably slightly downhill right there.2100 rpm @120 km/H......... cool.
Downhill & the wind behind you ?

What oil pressure??What's up with that oil pressure?
I really liked the idea of a window rocket but it goes where I mounted the fuse panel so I decided I would rather not relocate the fuse panel and forgot about having fast windows. Then after seeing all the reviews I decided I could make it work with some long standoffs from McMaster Carr. The holes all lined up so it was easy. Fast windows and an aux fuse panel. Solid mount so far.
