Ruining my 80, chopping sheetmetal!!! Ordered one of these Huracan tailgate storage devices off ebay for 335 shipped. I see they had a group buy last year.

Putting in my reverse lights, can only reach one side of them right now until i cut out the back of my tailgate. These will be put on a switch snd tied to my reverse lights. My backup camera got rerouted to just under the spare tire, worked out great.

Very nice. I almost did that but opted for bolt on instead.

I’m not going to lie, I was kinda bummed because I was hoping my SC’d would be close to the turbo numbers. Not even close 😞

Well, in terms pure power both produce about the same except SC takes a lot of power to spin. And more power and higher the RPM the more power it takes to run the SC. Where as turbo doesn’t put much tax on the engine at all especially at high RPM.

I drove your SC truck before and it drives great, can’t wait to have the turbo in mine!!! No more down shift to 2nd and drive 55 up hill.:bounce2::bounce::bounce2::steer:

Did I mention I can’t wait? Now get back to work!!! :flipoff2:

So.. swapped out my Super charger pulley last night from the stock 3.25 to a 3.0 and went for a test run at lunch today.
At 70+ mph, with 6 PSI of boost and 3400 rpm, on a 7% grade my AFR's were at 11.4 and EGT's at around 1575 degrees.
The only thing holding me back was my EGT's don't like getting close to 1600 degrees, even though from what I have read 1600 is considered safe.
Keep in mind my rig weighs in at 7k.. not bad for an 3.5 I-6 !
Did you chop off a cylinder? How did you lose a liter?

Wired. This one is not that great, but the one on my work truck is better, however, none of them are good enough for lcp. Lol. I bought it because it was cheap and if it gets damaged, buy a new one.

The one on my work truck works well with low light, but it has zero markings! I don’t know who makes it. It was installed by slangin car audio.

My 80 carried me nearly 1500 miles on an epic adventure to one of the harshest climates on earth, hauling loads of gear across the desert, through canyons, and over mountains as the chase truck for a dirt bike tour of Death Valley. The old wagon performed and impressed at every turn, at home in a truly awesome destination:

yep, gotta love the reliability of the 3FE!

I built my first set of sliders but learned the hard way that these rigs flex on the frame a lot because the sliders would hit the rocker panel and they would rattle on the washboard. So I removed them and started redoing the mounts today
