Also, unlike fire apparatus, you will never have to worry about what local bridge can take the weight of your 80, ha!

Well, not on main roads anyway! I've been over a few "sketchy" bridges in my 80 ;cD

Stopped on the way home from work to take a "yay it's kind of finally spring like weather" (after a trip to the car wash to wash some winter away...)

Following instructions here...thanks @Malahki ...the dash locker light on my HDJ81 now tells me the Harrop Elockers are engaged.

While I had the gauge cluster out, I used an orange Sharpie to darken up the faded hands/pointers on the different gauges.

Before...all faded and bland

After...bold and beautiful (to the extent orange gauge hands can be beautiful)

Finally got the sliders finished and installed and decided to go for a quick overnighter. Then I buried an axe in my shin and had to visit the tailgate ER.View attachment 1661468 View attachment 1661469 View attachment 1661470 View attachment 1661471

Yikes! I watched a buddy splitting wood in flip flops, he missed the wood, but the follow they went down and split his foot between the big toe and the toe next to it! It looked like someone took their Kbar and sliced his foot right down the middle for about 4 inches! Poor lil fella.... we were laughing our ashes off! He recovered! Lol
Good luck..... don’t let it get infected!

Putting together the HDJ80 that I’m painting. This is a build my son is doing for a friends father. Donor is a low mileage 91 HDJ81 (rusted) with a 151 and locked axels. Recipient is a domestic high mileage 94 FJ80. Fairly straight body so the paint work has not been too bad. This is going to be a sweet truck when finished though. Also transfering the cloth 81 interior. @mcguirejohnson (the builder)

sourced an oem LHD 5-speed shifter and console from Onur. Also got the wheels from him. Will look great once it’s all in there.

Me and some friends camped near kitty hawk for spring break. My first time to that area so I'm not super familiar. Quite the experience, ill have to come back when the weather is decent!

Came down a hill and hit a giant puddle about 18” deep. Had some stumbling afterward. Think it’s water in the distributor cap.

Also rotated the tires.

Spent most of the day pulling people out when stuck. Good times.

If the stumbling doesn't go away, check your plug wires and then the plugs. It is possible to foul a plug with too much water. I did it in a flash flood here in Texas.
