That's crazy!
Almost the exact same thing for me today. Scored a 95 green 80, runs good, interior a bit rough. No title. Guy wanted 1500. Said I would only do 700. He thought about it a couple hours and said ok. I drive it home tomorrow
Where do you guys find these on CL? I never see them.

Well, mine turned out to be a bust. turns out the title was lost in a bankruptcy, and so he may not even have the legal right to sell it. I could probably still get away with it, but not worth the risk to me, besides it is an OBD2 mine is OBD1.

OBD2 is good. Title..yea, that sucks.

Good, unless you are trying to rebuild something for a quick direct swap out without trying to swap sensors and such to make it work.

After finally have the last straw with my wacky climate control ( would go in and our of functioning) I dug in and took off much of the lower dash to figure out the culprit. After pull both modules (again) to find no water damage and everything to be looking nice and tidy I focused on the relays. Started fiddling with the DS relay and after a quick trip to the local parts store for a new relay (and a 40A fuse..blew it tinkering with the relay) I was back in action. Seems to be working flawlessly now!

Side note question for ya'll. I was looking at my EWD and there is said to be a relay behind the PASS side dash....I pullled the ECU and looked all over in there...where is that thing?!

What are the dimensions of the back of the cruiser with 3rd row out? Anyone use an airbedz mattress in a cruiser?

Last time I measured from over the wheel wells I think it was slightly less than 60" (I could solve this problem if I wasnt feeling so lazy right now.)

Which reminds me, anyone with a sleeping platform/drawer set up that extends the full width of the cargo area have any experience with squishing two exped mega mats side by side in there? They would be really tight together but I'm thinking it might work...

Also they are on sale for a great deal right now at REI garage if anyone else is looking: Exped MegaMat 10 Sleeping Pad - REI Garage

Super tempting...

3 year old son got a 2016 Tacoma with a roof top tent.... matchbox. He's stoked.

Oh, the Cruiser.... oil change with sample sent to Blackstone, and a new air filter.

Unfortunately the cruiser developed a pretty serious rattle above 30 mph. Looking into panhard bushings, tie rod ends, maybe parking brake?

If I can't diagnose I'll call Amory and set up an appointment with the crew at @sleeoffroad, might be above my banana level.

Went and picked up a new motor for my LX450, it was @azcrackshot 's leftovers from his ridiculous swap.... Nice to have a backup as I don'thave much faith in the current 1FZ, previous owner didn't know what PM is...or general maintenance to be more specific..

Then moved my project boat back to the house to start making it great again!!! Gotta say the 80 series isn't the best tow rig but it gotherdun with whatever issues are going on with my current motor...and it still get 11.5+ mpg knockin burning oil and whatever else is plaguing it

Finally replaced the starter solenoid internals that have been sitting in the garage for a little while now. Took me about 20 key cranks to start it this morning so it was time. Fired right up after the swap. Contacts weren't in terrible shape but it was pretty dirty in there and there was definitely some wear. Hopefully that was the only issue.

Also ordered four 555 tie rod ends from @cruiseroutfit along with some OME 851 springs for the front to go with my 863s in the back. Hopefully I'm close to level after drawers and gear are added to rear. Also ordered a new tie rod adjusting sleeve.

Firestone couldn't even break the tie rods loose to adjust toe. Instead of messing with heating them up and popping a vessel in my neck trying to break them loose I'm just replacing it all.

Yeah they do okay.

This was a few weekends ago. Figured I'd share it here.

Nice to see you like having all your fingers...and lucky you didn't end up like this bloke. Pretty stupid not using the guard or the correct attachment nut. Takes next to no side loading at all to break a 1mm disc
