From Florida to Georgia... Went on a camping / wheeling trip with my friends for the long weekend.

Had a really good time there.

Checked out the way northern Arizona area.

Used the Cruiser to haul the family, gear, and a canoe to Packwood Lake trail head and then proceeded to portage a canoe 4 miles to the lake just because my buddies said I couldn't do it.

Took my camping platform off the roof for a deep clean and discovered this bad boy above the B pillar. My cleaning project just got considerably more challenging.

Yeah, I figured. Crazy. It just poured like crazy a couple of days ago when I was driving it and didn't notice it.

It poured hard today while she was driving it and noticed it right away.

Isn't there a "fireman fix" or something for the windshield?

HOW TO: Fix your leaky windshield

I did this last summer. I was tired of having water dripping on my foot at random times during rainstorms. We spent a week camping in Baja this last January and it rained.the.whole.time. Dry floors, dry feet. Except for the night I left the sunroof cracked open. Oof.

I used the good urethane sealer you get at autobody/paint shops.

And lots of yard/house stuff catch up. We didn't really plan on spending all of Labor Day weekend camping/wheeling/partying, but we did. I didn't plan on camping out the weekend before that, but I did (mrs surfpig was on a backpacking trip).

Life is short, and it gets shorter every day.

Got my Prinsu Design roof rack, ordered the sides and front deflector raw aluminium so I could powder coat them gloss black with steel grey metallic/clearcoat to match my bumpers and sliders.

Now I need to bolt it together and hopefully install this weekend.
