No build thread. The front end is all Ruffstuff parts. I have their GM 1-ton TRE Y-link for steering, with a RHD steering arm. The radius arm "kit" came from them as well, although I used exactly 2 brackets as they came, everything else had to be extensively modified due to it going on an 80.

Shocks are 2.0 RR Fox factory series shocks. 12" travel in front, and 11" in rear. Downsouthmotorsports did the valving for me, and so far I am happy with it.

I did put the truck through a great shakedown though. After putting 62 miles on it around the house, my wife and I loaded up and drove 1000 miles to South Dakota.

Well went up to Sacramento picked up my girl Jan , drove up in the mountains and found this forest service road named "Ya" .. Ha ... so "Ya" had to go ! went for miles came out way high by this really rustic cabin, and trees ...It was a blast and added some famous NorCal Pinstripes to the rig ! ... ahh it gives it some character ! Ha

Cleaned the cruiser after getting back from my 2 week 3000 mile trip through Colorado and New Mexico.

I never had to open the tool bag to work on anything on the cruiser during the entire trip.

Put some grip tape on the sliders so my 5' tall wife doesn't break her neck climbing in when they're wet. Used the leftover on the bumper for a occasional time I use it to climb up to the engine bay from the front.

He figured out they didn't work before I bought it. Which is why it talked them down another $800. I wasn't too concerned about it. And still am not too concerned about it. It's the front so I'll get around to it at some point but not worried.

The rear locker works. Just needed a $20 actuator.
