Think I might need to do this famous oil galley plug fix. Found this trying to adjust the valves and get everything right Till the bottom fell out and started raining... :bang:

Louise is continuing to get up to speed: this week we replaced almost the entire cooling system, and a few other items:

Water pump/gaskets
Thermostat/gaskets
Upper/Lower Thermostat housing
Fan Clutch
All hoses that contain coolant
Oil Cooler Hoses
Oil pressure sending unit
Battery Tray

A few weeks ago, we did:
Plugs
Wires
Distributor Cap
Rotor

Still runs warm. It looks like a freeze plug on the side of the block is leaking, and one of the hoses is leaking. I'm hoping it's not the tiny little hose from the bottom of the water pump.

Anyway, took her out in the first snow...and of course, grabbed a few pictures:

Thank God you weren't driving on the highway when it happened!

Yeah it will be parked till I get time to fix it looks like the P.O. must have put jb weld or something on it

Yeah I’m glad it didn’t! I think it wants to but the P.O. jb weld held it

New AISIN clutch kit and resurfaced flywheel. No more slipping! Went to Austin DIY Shop, would have been 10x worse without an articulating transmission jack.

Since i don't have a 70 series... I'm going the next best thing.......

Finally... two plus years later I'm installing @TRAIL TAILOR vinyl kit......

Love the texture, color & way it's coming out....
Don't expect it to be perfect cause I'm a jack of all trades, but master of none....

Goodbye dust, and cattle dog hairs.....

^ that came out great!

I’m about to tackle moving my distributor one tooth. I hear it’s no fun, so wish me luck.

It’s easy. Also what makes you think it’s a tooth off?
