Bump... I’ll try again! I started cutting blank rear quarters from bud built

Last night I started with an oxy acetylene torch on the brackets on a 14 bolt disc and knocking brackets off a super 60.
Hopefully be done and have them cleaned up by the end of the weekend.

Need to pick up some steel and sockets big enough for pinion bolts this weekend.

The cast brackets on the super 60 are fracking thick and heavy, I bet I'll be knocking 50 pounds off it before I'm done

Some more hardcore stuff:

Well not really, but I guess more involved than hanging brake pads or going fishing in the other threads

Working a little bit on the aluminum for a top mount IC, I had it almost done and now can't find some of the bits and pieces, starting over on a bit of the fab, friend of a friend does a nice job welding aluminum so once it's all pieced together I'll get it tacked and burnt together one evening. Have a STI WRX hood scoop for it as well.

Got the eBay waste gate actuator, but had to custom build a bracket for it tonight, found some old steel, bent it up , did a couple welds, painted with VHT and used high temp fibreglass insulation between the actuator body and bracket.

I checked the psi to stroke in the actuator with a spare valve stem on the tire chuck with a pressure gauge, starts to move about 18 psi

Drilled the HX35 housing for 1/8" NPT and put in a brass elbow to barbed hose fitting, the silicone tube I added is a bit on the long side but I'll shorten it once the turbo is installed and clocked to where is best.
