What did you do to your pig today?

Poor Pig has been sitting down there guarding the bees all week. So I started her up and drove slowly around the neighborhood, stopped for some glamour shots by where the creek flows, and then parked back in the usual tree-shaded piece of gravel and popped the hood...

"UH oh!, What's this?!" it's moist and green and not normal. So I put a 14mm socket on the closest bolt and snugged it up. It needed snugging. That probably fixed it. Also snugged up every other 14mm bolt I could see and reach easily. Valve cover needed snugging too. Lesson learned: Snug your bolts! I love how they made it so you can put a socket on those bolts.

So then, having wrenched on her, we went for a spirited drive, even exercising the secondary barrel, on the twisty turny hilly pavement between the gravel and the second-closest brew-pub, where as usual, We parked near a heep who thought it looked tough. Got some ESB to go and went down the road a couple hundred yards to the pizza place. The brew-pub does make pizza but not as good as the pizza place.

I really love to see everyone's landcruiser but especially this one.

The Aesthetic demonstrates that the owner "gets it". Major props on the cool pig.

Everything looks good powder coated
The same cannot be said about bedliner, unfortunately. Back in 1998 I had the underside of a 40 sandblasted. Guy did a great job and I had decided to bedline the underside the next evening. Got off work early and started a working hard at bedlining everything. Finally finished around 10pm. Went in to shower and discovered I had done all that without my hat on. Yep, I bedlined my head and it had dried. Only option was to shave it all off. My wife wasn’t very happy waking up next to a bald husband. Make ready, fire!, aim. Wouldn’t be the last time.

Mike I don’t think you give yourself enough credit. I’m sure it looked good, you might have started something just didn’t give it time to catch on!
