Now that’s a lap belt!
It's what he's used to. Pretty much the same latch as on his go-kart...

Decided to try and drive Steve aka Lardass to farm for first time since accident, of course battery dead, jumped it, started right up, ran good for the 4 miles to farm. will be awhile before i drive again as surgery this week on shoulder, one day at a time
Good luck with surgery! At least you have met your deductive maybe 100 times over this year. Next year is going to be a cake walk!

I usually drive my pig every week just to keep all the fluids moving…and of course it is fun…, but it had been sitting for about two months because the TPS throttle position sensor decided to die. Plastic housed sensor that sits right above the manifold and next to the head cover, so not surprised it only lasted 4 years in that high heat environment. I finally installed a new one yesterday and went for a test drive. It is idling way too high above 2200 rpm’s and the TPS and IAC are both flat at zero. Will need to figure that out at some point. But for now I will get back to restoring a 1985 FJ60 that I bought for a retirement project.

Fixed my horns. Don't use them often so I'm not sure when they stopped working. Got a standard set of Hellas in the mail and put them in the front corners of the engine bay out of the way. Took me a minute to remember/figure out they were ground-switched and wired them through a 4 terminal relay. They sound awful. Like an old Bug. I need to look into air horns.
