Driveshafts are back. Went to the only driveshaft shop in the area; owner's old, like me, and a wheeler. He's the closest shop to the Rubicon and gets plenty ASAP work in the summer, I told him I was in no hurry and proved it by not calling once to ask if they were done yet. I needed two of the weld joints, he had them in his junk pile. All new U-joints and the medium thick wall tubing. We decided to minimize paperwork and just had him date and initial the shafts. I carry the spare under the rear seat, I probably should wrap one in plastic. Should probably paint one too, I've done a candy-cane spiral paintjob before, pink over black, I liked that. Or maybe a checkerboard...

Finished off the fuel pump & brake lines.
As the chassis was shorterned I needed to nip the brake lines & fuel lines.
It took me ages to land with an external pump location, as the fuel tank I am using is from a Diesel 80 series. There is no pump in the tank.
I am plan for water & air tanks under the car so that real estate is taken.
The couplings, joins, wiring and fuel clamps are in seevicable areas.
I am sure I'll make adjustments as time goes on, but for now this will do.

My 2 cents; second one; because it's not a TRD Baja racing truck. And because that's the way they were painted.
Technically not today but took the fam to the beach yesterday after work. I am glad I did because today is going to be nasty weather.
