Not sure. I haven't had a shroud for 30 years or so, haven't needed one, it just got a little warm (230s F) last Rubithon I ran. old radiator was getting old, Got some little electric fans to put on this radiator too.
 
Did my weekly drive into Red Rock National Conservation Area it was great as always until the inline fuel pump for my Sniper EFI died. I keep a spare pump and filters in the truck and of course a basic tool roll but realized some of my specialty tools like fuel line “pinch” clamps and specific nut drivers to make it easier to get the hose clamps off are in my garage tool chest. I decided to let it cool for 45 minutes then limped home. Changed out everything this morning and it is running great again. Check out all the tools I had to use to get this done. Need to think about that for what I should carry with me. My first Walbro fuel pump lasted 2 years and this one also only lasted 2 years. Lots of people on the intrawebs complain about inline fuel pumps going bad.

I don’t think the current Walbro offerings are nearly as good as they used to be, could be a counterfeit issue. Walbro was the gold standard for years, but I don’t hear much good anymore. I ended up putting a DW320 in my Tundra when it was time and am quite pleased with it. I also would cut the wrapping out to only where the clamps are, that pump needs to stay cool.

In tank should last longer than on the frame.

In an off road vehicle that’s used off grid like some of us do here I would run two pumps on the frame or in the tank with a couple Y’s and either manually plug between the two or have a switch on the dash like I had on the angry pig, a single ON/OFF/ON switch is what I used. When one crapps the bed just switch to the other and keep going and deal with the dead one when you get home. Same cost as carrying a spare and way less laying on your back on the road or trail.

Also anything that has a filter or pump mounted down off the frame I install an inline fuel proof ball valve back at the tank..
