Ok, so I just got the 411 from Howard at Boulder Creek.

1. It is $65 per driver to camp, wheel, and participate in the activities for the ENTIRE weekend (Friday through Monday). $25 per passenger for the ENTIRE weekend.
2. We can camp on the trail if we want. Most people will camp in the front, but we are more than welcome to camp on the 750.
3. There are multiple off-road groups going including the Austin Rovers and Crawltex.
4. Registration can be done upon arrival, however, they would like an approximate number of attendies for planning purposes. If we let him know ahead of time, they will check out the trail conditions before arrival.
5. About 100 or so markers have been installed on the trails in the last couple of weeks. Yeehaw!

Some of the highlights are: Wheeling all of the days, guided sunset trail rides, and night time riding is allowed until 10:30 p.m (otherwise known as cherry-time). There will be a sponsored lunch and other fun stuff.

Who's in?

I'm no longer sure if my cruiser is going to be trail ready, she is a bit old. However I'm still up to go, I could register as a passenger or something like that.

I'm in for Boulder Creek. I'm planning on going Saturday.

i'm out... someone is very interested in the 80 and i cant risk breaking/damaging anything...

I'm out, Family reunion.......... I have to miss an entire weekend of wheeling to go see the people I see every time I go Home........ Not really but it sounds better + I am still triing to go to Arkansas for the razor back.

jk

I will go wherever the majority decides to go, I won't be wheeling anyways, however I wont be able to head out of austin until friday afternoon/ saturday morning.

Go and just grab a seat with someone. Being able to wheel is just one of the many reasons to get out and go camping and hang out.

So can I get a general idea of how many people are going where and if I would be able to ride with someone on either trail. Unless I get my transfer case problems under control that is.

Well after reading on the Twister site that it will cost me $350 in entry fees, we are heading to Boulder Creek. Should be there early afternoon on Friday.

Sorry to hear you have to cancel but I'm glad we'll see you at Boulder Creek.

Ok well work schedules may be forbidding me to get any work done on the cruiser. I can drive out to b-creek but is there anyone who let me ride a long on the trail?

-Matt

just show up and stick your thumb out you will surely get picked up by one of us wierdoz

Ok well actually... I'm going to try to get my t- case fixed this weekend. If that works out then I'll try to throw my locker in throughout the week and hopefully I can have it all done by saturday. If not, I'll just bum some trail rides.

I'm planning to just go on Saturday. If some one let's me know where everyone will be congregating, I'll try to catchn up around 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. I'm like several of you, I'm going to drivce my cruiser up and likewise, don't need to be walking home. Mild to modrate wheeling for me this time. Like Matt, I just recently locked my rear diffand I'd like to check it out.
