What are the differences in these axle assemblies?

Trying to understand the difference between #23 and #25 in the below exploded diagram.

#23 AXLE ASSY LX470 Part Number: 4343060040
#25 SHAFT & JOINT ASSY LX470 Part Number: 4346069145

They look identical in the diagram, one exploded, one assembled. The prices however are wildly different.

My guess is 1 of 2 things

1- 43460-69145 is the general part # used outside of Europe, Japan and N. America, while 43430-60040 is the N. American part #
or
2- One of them supersedes the other

I bet that you cannot buy both, only one here in the US. You really need a Toyota parts guy to confirm though, Mr T does some weird things @beno @cruiserdan

And there it is! Thanks Beno

#23 is the whole shaft assy.

#24 is the outboard shaft assy only.

Both are available in the US market.

hi beno, thanks for the reply. did you mean 25 is the outboard assembly? 24 appears to point to the inner joint, correct?
