What a horrible day I've had - sheared front output shaft!

x2 on the pictures. Your rig doesn't have much time and wear on it since it left Proffitt's does it? Or was the T-case something they didn't touch?

Even better, put the new one on, and bring the broken one to CM for show and tell (and pictures). I'm not even going and I think that'd be a good idea.

No, its low time, but Jeremiah didn't touch it. It's kind of a one off - I dropped 3 spd gears into a 4spd housing and shimmed up the idler cluster!

Its going to Moab, Brian and I will swap it out there - where we'll be sure to have lots of help if we need it! I'll make sure the cooler is filled! :D

what is the best way to secure my beer while the trailer is moving? I don't want to get dehydrated during the R&R of the transfercase.

thanks!

Hehe! Brian, I'll be getting about a 10am start tomorrow (a goal, anyway). Dinner out with friends went later than promised by momma, then, a tyrannical 5 yr old that didn't want to go home killed the rest of the evening!

hitting the rack now with a 6 am alarm. All the camping gear is downstairs waiting to be loaded. Tools, fluids, spares, etc are all collected and waiting to be packed. I washed the 40 on the trailer this afternoon, I needed to do something to make me feel better! She's tied down and ready to go;:

Still gotta remove the front driveshaft!

Hope it doesn't rain on the way out, I'd hate to have to strap on the tarp!

The truck looks good, Sean. Have a safe trip to Moab.

I had the same issue as you with the Pakistani soft top. I fixed mine by separating the tubing from the formed B-pillar section, raising the tubing about 1" or 1-1/2" (1/4" above the roll cage), and then welding the tubing back to the formed part. Not that you have time to do it now, but you might consider that later on rather than cutting up the cage. Maybe we'll run into each other at Moab and I can show you how it was done.
