You have my attention as well. Although, I am a little tied up until after Super Bowl, but who knows.

Shameless Party Plug>>>>While I'm on the Super Bowl subject, Jami and I are throwing our 9th Annual Super Bowl Bash, Sunday Feb. 3rd, Post up or PM me and I'll get whoever is interested the details.

I now return you to the drink thread in progress>>>

So do we have a date in mind? How about a place? Better yet should we throw some suggestions out there and see what sticks???

I didn't have a particular date in mind. Just wanted to see what everyone else's schedule was like.

If we're stickin with a Friday: this Friday is out for me and the 1st is out as well -- Sorry D, I'm up north again that weekend :frown: big mardi gras shin dig is being put on by one of friends.

But the 25th is open. I could also wait til post-super bowl, if need be.

I also don't have a place in mind. So feel free to just toss out any ideas y'all have.

Any weekend but this one and I'm down too (fat man on a see saw, now that's funny). The only suggestion I have is to stay away Cardinals Stadium area for about 3 weeks. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to beer.

Ever been to the Q Bar & Grill at 67th & Olive?

I stumbled in there one night, and from what I remember, it was pretty cool. Big, cavernous space with lots of corrugated aluminum siding, animal trophies and junk all around, friendly waitresses. Their fried food was pretty tasty too. My perception may have been a little polluted however.

EDIT: oh hey look! I found their site!

25th no good for me, Disneyland. Superbowl weekend is probably not the best of ideas either. Afterwards, wide open. Anyone ever been to the Chuy's on 95th north of Camelback? Right off the loop, spacious inside, decent draught selection.

I'm hesitant on the Q Bar, I've been in their kitchen. Nice people though.

Let's aim for post-Super Bowl then - perhaps the 8th?

Ulgh, that sounds ominous. :p

I haven't been to that Chuy's, or any Chuy's for that matter, so I can't comment. :frown:

I do however, have an additional suggestion -- Oggi's. I've always wanted to try that place. They make their own beer, which is always a plus in my book.

They're at: 6681 W. BEARDSLEY ROAD. I think that's up by the 101.

Here's their site:
Welcome to Oggi's

and a review:
Oggi's Pizza and Brewing Co.

Well, I'm more of a "macro-brew" kind of a guy, but that place was pretty nice the last time I was there. I'll have to inquire with the current driver to find out if my brand is still on tap. Sorry, I'm in the biz so I'm a bit picky when it comes to beer. What can I say, I'm loyal to my ":beer:check". The 8th sounds good.

So who do you work for KingBeeIII?

I used to be in the biz as well...spent 10 years in, got out about 6 years ago. I was one of the original sales reps in AZ to peddle New Belgium Brewing Co., Cabo Wabo, & Patron tequila. I was also responsible for bringing Wiehenstephan beer into the state and placing it in all the German Restaurants as well as retail outlets. Still have many good friends in the biz.

As far as Oggi's goes I'm good with that, the beer was good, but the place is kinda small and packed most the time. I also like the Q-bar as well. I've stumbled out of there more then once. My crew and I tend to frequent the other Q which is right up the road from my work. I've become immune to the fact of goings on in the kitchens of many restaurants over the years, I base my opinion on if I get sick or not.

I also like R.T. O'sullivans on 59th & Bell. Big bar, good food and cold beer, plus they have a huge patio for :smokin: I'm partial to that cause I still smoke, and when I smoke I like to be able to enjoy my beer at the same time. There I said it! This new smoking law sucks :censor:

As far as dates I'm open.

Wherever. Whenever.
I'm so flexible, I'm gonna join Cirque Du Soleil.

Before you run off with the circus, I got those FSM's so we can get to my little leakage problem. So when your free let me know and we can gander at the books over a few beers while plotting the best form of attack. As for my third, your offer to pick it up might work. I will let you know.

I'm a supervisor with Hensley. I've been in the industry for over 10 years now and seems like I've done just about everything. New Belgium and Patron? Those turned into very nice brands now didn't they?

Anyway, off to the other thread:beer:

If we're not wheeling, and I don't have a client, this weekend would be cool.
A guy is supposed to be bringing me a mortar mixer to fix, but I may be able to push him off a week, since I just saved him $$$ on his other mixer. :)
I'll know in a couple days.
