Hey All,

I am new to Cruisers and wrenching in general but have decided it would be a better hobby than golfing. I picked up a mostly stock 76' FJ40 in August and have been lurking the boards since then gathering some info on key projects.

I just completed a 4" lift on my 40 and have moved onto a saginaw power steering conversion. I have zero tools or ability to do the welding. Do you all have any recommendations on hiring a welder in the North GA area? I will need the gear bracket, steel tube sleeve and possibly the u joint near the steering column welded.

Thanks in advance!

Unless ACC makes house calls to spot weld my saginaw plates I will need a recommendation of who to hire.

I have searched for welding classes but all i come up with are in depth certification courses. Should I just buy a welder and get some instructional DVD's?
