The time has come for me to upgrade so I am going to have to say goodbye to my trusty Lincoln since I do not have the room (or need) for 2 units.

Here it is:
Lincoln Weldpak 100, with the full MIG conversion, including the gas and gas-less inner gun wire braid, extra tips for .35, .30, .25 wire, extra spools of wire, welding cart, bottle (can't remember the size but about 3 1/2' tall) with regulator and hoses and about 1/2 or more full of CO2/Ar mix.
Here is some info: review, product info.
This welder has never let me down and has been very well maintained, I have done anything from body work to over it's specified material thickness and pushed it to almost 1/2' thick steel. It runs off a 15amp, 110V outlet and is small enough to fit in any shop. I have not tried using it on stainless or aluminium but I was told it can be with the right gas and wire feed.
all of it, $500.00

I got my new toy today:bounce::bounce2::bounce:, I feel like a kid getting the toy he always dreamt about and never thought he would get:D:D. I spent the entire evening setting it all up and tomorrow the welding begins! I can't wait. So far the 252 is looking like the ultimate welder that will last me till I'm in a wheel chair (which I would likely build myself with the help of the welder). I'll let you guys know how she does tomorrow.

Same machine I want!!! I got to start saving my pennies

congrats:clap:

This was sooo worth it, that thing is amazing (and a little scary) although now I have to almost re-teach myself how to weld because it runs twice as fast as the Lincoln and stuff that used to take me 30 seconds of welding I now do in a single quick pass of about 15. The penetration is great, requires a bit more quick acting and thinking but it has so many different setting options it's amazing. I ended up welding 1/2" today as if it was 1/8th on the Lincoln - but I'm glad I started off on the smaller machine because this would be way too scary to use as a learning MIG (it's also almost 4 times the cost).
For anyone that is thinking of getting a Miller 252, just save your pennies and do it, there is no comparison to anything else in that size, I've used the Hobart of the same rating and it didn't come close.
So somebody going to buy the Lincoln and help me pay for the Miller or what?
