Weird transmission shifting...

Did a couple of searches couldn't find what I am looking for.

On my 01 LX when I come to a stop but traffic picks up, I ease onto the gas, and it feels like to slams into gear. My 80 used to do this, and it was because my "kickdown cable" was fairly loose.

My question is, is there a kickdown cable on the 2001 LX? Or is it completely computer controlled? Why have an ECT button if it is completely computer controlled?

Search for driveline thunk, thud, clunk. This is really common.

The Propeller shafts (drive shafts) need lubed.

The ECT button changes the programing in the computer for more performance.
