I haven’t been able to find anything on this. Do any of you know what this is? I have no idea what could have caused it - I just noticed it the other day. Tiny pits in the glass of the driver side window, interior.

Ok, I’ll do that. Yes, it’s the small blobs that look like water droplets - those are tiny chips in the glass. It’s original glass on a 2013, so very strange that they just showed up today.I see streaks. Is that what you mean? We’re your windows tinted post-OEM?
If the blobs that look like water droplets are the pits you’re referring g go, that seems like it might be defective glass on a re-do.
Stop by a glass shop and I’d wager they’ll have a good idea of what that might be.

No cracks. I do have four kids though, and they’re in the LC all the time - including a ski trip this weekend - so could be that. I interrogated them, but failed to obtain a confession.Never seen that on oem glass. Very weird...especially on the inside. Makes me think of odd scenarios like a kid banging something on it.
No cracks though?
Well, case solved, even if the perp(s) not identified. No cracks. I do have four kids though, and they’re in the LC all the time - including a ski trip this weekend - so could be that. I interrogated them, but failed to obtain a confession.
I have not had it since new. I think you’re right - it does seem fairly shallow, so may just be the tint and not the window. I presume the tint chips easier than OEM glass?Have you had it since new? My windows look similar, but that's because I have chips in the tint from one of the previous owners. If all your windows had been tinted then it very well could be chips in the tint film.
Based on how dark the outside looks in your picture on what seems to be a bright day, I'd wager that it has to do with your tint, and window itself is fine
Definitely chips easier than the glass. Also depends on what tint material was used. For example my daily I had tinted by a decent quality tint and no issues. Whoever tinted my 200 I can actually scratch away at the tint if I wanted to. So I can only assume they didn't understand the difference in material quality for tint.I have not had it since new. those are marks in the window tint, my 13 lx had them, took it to a window tintt guy and he told me they see this from women’s wedding rings, diamonds hitting the glass when seatbelts are taken on and off, or it’s the seatbelts them selves hitting the window when you take them off
To best of my knowledge and the window tint owner this tint is oem

If I understand your post correctly, that is not correct. The only OEM "tint" is integral to the glass - there is no such thing as an OEM tint film that is applied over the glass.

Not that I’ve ever noticed, and I’m pretty careful/observant about this type of thing. It went suddenly from no marks to several marks. But I’ll check to see if that’s it.I had a similar problem. Do you ever bang your metal seat belt end into the window/tint film when taking it off? Given the position of the metal end when swinging it over your shoulder makes it easy to strike the window. The strike leaves a little pock mark in the tint film.
