I have 2011 LC200 5.7 Engine only 7k (unfortunately) I have a weird noise mixed witha buzz coming from the engine at 1650-1700 RPM. even when Engine on idle

is it coming from the engine itself?
I would recommend popping the hood, and listening to the compartment to ascertain the specific location of the source. Often buzzes are vibrations of things rattling loose.

Is it a quieter buzz, or louder?
What other noises do you hear? squealing?
Chattering?
knocking?

at 1650-1700 RPM.

This sounds like the classic torsen differential vibration that has been reported by 4runner/GX owners as well as some 200 owners.

Do you feel anything in the steering wheel when hitting these RPMs?

even when Engine on idle

The vehicle should not be idling at 1700rpm.

I've had that problem before, and like Combat Chuck said, it was just a piece of something loose under the hood. Hope that's all it is for you.

... and pagemaster... how would you know? You don't own a land cruiser... shoot, you don't even own a car, you ride a bike!

Keep your personal comments to the other threads. DO NOT spill things overs.

I have had more experience with Land Cruisers and Toyota's in general than most of you on these threads. Keep any flaming comments to the other threads. I have committed to doing that, so should you.

And the bike was joke to all of you on here. You all have no idea what I drive.

Yes from engine and i can feel buzzz thing thru body and steering wheel specially at 1700 rpm.

I park the truck and put the gear to (N) and accelerate engine and still hear that buzz sound. I hear sound from inside more than from engine while hood up.

There's no vibration at all its like internal Buzzzz that you can feel and hear it thru the body.

Well it is possible that you have two issues...noise and a vibration issue, could be separate.

Does the steering wheel still vibrate in neutral? And how severe is the vibration?

The steering wheel vibration at 1700rpm is very likely the torsen diff, nothing wrong as that is how it was built and is normal.

Can you explain to us how you have so much experience with Land Cruiser and Toyota in general if you do not even drive one? No pun intended! It's like giving advice to parents with thier children problems, if you never had children?

PM me and I will tell you.

If you want to explain through PM go ahead and PM me but I dont think I am the only one who wants to know so you can just explain here besides you always have something smart to say in here. Remember the first time we met when I was just inquiring about trans. flushes at the dealership and you started trolling on me? Now you want to PM, suddenly shy are we or you just want to make freinds?

The sound like (zzzzzz) only if the rpm hit 1700 no buzzz before or after 1700rpm there's slightly vibration i couldn't even feel it.

How about when you are turning? More evident or less?

I drive from 0 to 120 km strat gear 1,2,3,4,5,6 the sound sart any time the rpm reach 1700 rpm.
its from the engine i can feel it its like when the jet engine start a little buzzz at that point,,, it's really drive me craze:mad: no one here knows whats the reason for that sound.

You need to go to your dealer.

It is hard enough to figure out what the root cause of weird noises are when you have access to the vehicle. It is nearly impossible over the internet. (If the thread stays active long enough, someone might get lucky and peg it. But they really would have been better off saving that sort of luck for the lottery.)
