Today we got lots of rain and snow....making me mad!! I went out to move the 60 off the street and noticed the driver's side carpet, under the mat, was soaked. I haven't done too much investigation, but where could this water be coming from. Some how draining off the roof and then down the door frame (inside) and then inside? It's only on the driver's side. Weird:mad:

That's a pretty common issue, actually. Do a search for "wet floor" and you'll find a ton of threads that go over the common issues. For me, it was a faulty windshield gasket (repaired it with some silicone sealant IIRC), and it leaked to the floor. For others, the little drain holes below the door can be filled with dirt. I think there are about five different things that can go bad, so do a search and good luck!

It's usually a pretty easy fix unless you need a whole new gasket...

Cracked caulking in the drip rail, with water invasion down the A pillar. Is the A pillar wet?

Windshield seal. Check very carefully for source of drip on the upper DS.

Leaves, dirt etc. in the box under the hood grill at the bottom of the windshiled. PITA because it is hard to get to.

I am sure others can add to this list, but the chances are that it is one of the first two things I mentioned.

I will check some of the other posts. But the windshield wiper gasket is broken and hanging on to dear life. That is probably the culprit. Thanks guys

Same problem. Was exterior DS door window seal. Water would drip down thru door and into interior.

Good thing you noticed it now.
Looks like the PO on my 60 had this issue. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until my foot almost went through the floor.
After you find the culprit you may want to check and treat for rust. It looks like mine rusted from the inside out.
Good luck

I had the same thing but only when driving in rain. Water came in around the Yee-Haw handle on the driver's side.

I pulled the windshield and re-installed with new rubber. Water stopped and amazingly the wind noise did as well. I guess if water can get in so can the wind - go figure.

Best of luck!
