If anyone can make it....I wanna test out my new duals!

Toyminator will be there and a couple other rigs with me.....

:grinpimp:

For those that have already made the trip, how the heck do I get there from Clayton? or from Ballwin?

How long is the drive to get there?

I'm just trying to convince myself I have time for this trip this weekend, so I need to know the details of when I would leave, how I would get there, and when I would be back (you know, so I can lie to the boss).

just past farmington on hwy 67. From Clayton, I would take 44 west to 270 south, to 55 south, then west on 32 to 67. It's just past the NEW McDonald's.

Got it!

Looks like about 1 1/2 hours from either Clayton or Chesterfield according to most on-line mapping sites. Though they do have you exit onto hwy 67 rather than going down to 32 and cutting across.

What say the experts?

If it matters, I will be towing Dan's (finally trail ready) Jeep with my 80, so we'll be moving much slower than average and I'd like to avoid as many stop lights/signs as possible.

From Pevely its just under an hour drive to the park. I can meet you somewhere and you can follow me down if you want. I'll PM you my phone number.

It seems like I've heard that somewhere before! Hmmm.:hmm:

True, very true. But in fairness, the last time I'd never seen the completed rig and we were told by the engine builder that it would be ready (it took several more months!).

This time, I've not only seen the finished rig, but I drove it to the dyno for testing (and snapped my neck a few times stomping on the skinny pedal like I do in my 80).

Its ready, or at least ready to break some things on the first run - which is why he wants to trailer it, so he can have fun without worry about getting home.

I will either be heading down friday (by myself) or saturday morning with Toyminator (steve).......

I'm bringing a couple Heeps down with me too to bash around on the granite. I gotta entertain myself somehow! :p

have fun guys...we'll be expecting pics

Man you guys are fast with the pics - looks like a fun trip.

Staying at home wasn't a pure loss though, I joined up with WFD and STLCruiser and looked at yet another FJ40 - but this one is for sale locally.

I think too much rust for WFD, but maybe if the price comes down enough (last asking price was $5K down from $7,500 which was down from $12k).

Sorry I missed you guys - meeting this Thursday at Syberg's?
