Hello 100 class! Just bought a lx 470, 147,000, 18,900.00, I know, paid a lot. I really fell in love with it when I saw it! It is a 2002 black with tan, amazing looking! All service records were available as well as carfax. original lease then owner bought out. local (seattle). The dealer gave us a 30 day warranty. Went to fetch some grub at local food supply. Went to start and after the seat and steering adjusted it wouldn't start?? Then I tried again and it started?? Anything I should have dealer look at??? Thanks in advance. Pics to come! Can't wait until it's mine!!!

Congrats mac 10! Sounds like you found a really nice one! I'm picking up my '03 LC today and can't wait to get her home to baseline. Can't hurt to have the dealer look at it - have you been able to replicate the no start condition?

The morning after I bought mine, a 2000 LX, I had a similar issue. Turned out a battery connection was loose... Check the simple things first.

Had a similar issue - was the negative terminal. On my 2006 LX the VSE lights flash and the radio antenna resets to the lowest position when the battery is disconnected / reconnected. If you noticed either of these it is likely a battery terminal issue.

I'll check connections today, thank you!

Checked connections at battery, a little loose? turned a 1/4-1/2 on both terminals. Hope this doesn't happen again.

Important to know whether it cranked and didn't fire, or didn't crank at all. If crank and no fire, then it's probably not a battery issue or else it wouldn't have cranked at all. This could be an indicator of immobilizer issue, which is exactly what I have. Seems to be a few members with this issue here.

Didn't crank at all.

In that case, could very well be a battery issue. Good luck with it and congrats on the purchase.
