Warning Lights

Okay ive been getting horrible mileage lately, so i decided to check the MAF and it was clean but I did clean the TB with a damp cloth and pulled off alot of black grime. Cranked it back up came up with "vsc off" and a check engine light. drove down the road didnt go off...what has caused this?

Worth checking, but I think I forgot to plug in MAF during TB job and car wouldn't start. Of course I got freaked out and double checked everything and realized I left maf disconnected

Its all good now lights went out today after school. But the maf looked clean I guess, does anyone have a pic of a dirty one? Still getting s*** mileage, could i need my spark plugs changed, close to 260k on the clock and dont remember ever having them changed. Ive only got 143 miles out of the 50$ I put in 3 days ago. Recently changed to 285-75-16 terragrapplers but would not think that much of a difference in mileage was to be seen
